T.J.C. Landrovers of Norfolk, UK

The main business at TJC Land Rovers is to supply customers with vehicles built to their own specifications.

Most people get tired of spending hours travelling to look at Land Rovers which aren't quite the vehicle they want. They're the wrong colour, have no power steering, wrong body, no alloys and so forth. This is where we come in.

You name it, we build it.

  • 3.9i V8 90 CSW
  • 300TDi automatic 110 CSW
  • 4.5 V8 110 double-cab
just three of a countless selection of vehicles that can be built to your personal requirements. We will build any Land Rover to any specification. Some of the items you may want to specify include
  • A-bars
  • air-conditioning
  • anti-roll bars
  • automatic transmission
  • cruise control
  • custom springs
  • diff. locks
  • electric windows,
  • engine pre-heater
  • full carpets
  • gas shock absorbers
  • heated front screen
  • high specification in-car entertainment
  • leather trim
  • LPG gas conversion
  • polybushes
  • remote central locking
  • roll cages
  • roof racks
  • soundproofing,
  • stainless brake hoses
  • underbody protection
  • vented discs
  • winches
As you can see, your ideal vehicle is only a chat away, and at a price that will surprise you.

We are true enthusiasts providing a service to other Land Rover lovers, not businessmen providing a service for a good profit. The majority of our one-off rebuilds are ordered as a result of recommendation or persons viewing a rebuild then contacting us.

Galvanised chassis We started from a galvanised chassis.
The axles are reconditioned before being refitted. Pair of lonely axles
Axles in The axles are in place so the job can be moved about.
Starting to fit the bodywork on. Building the body
Body looks like it came from a bits box The bodywork at a slightly more advanced stage. Don't bother about the colours too much at this stage...
Starting to look the right colour. Continuing with the body
Finished article All done. Looks like new.

Rebuilt Series II/III

As well as supplying rebuilt Defenders we can also supply older vehicles rebuilt to the same high standards. These Series vehicles can be rebuilt either to concours standards or to the customer's own specification and can be updated to resemble the latest defenders. "Mod Cons" can be added for more comfort and safety, and each vehicle is personalised to your own specification. A complete photographic history is supplied for your future reference and to see the depth of the works. Be it a standard Series IIA for export to America or a coil-sprung V8 LWB station wagon for delivery to Birmingham we can provide the complete service.

All vehicles are supplied with a full MOT, road fund licence (where applicable) and a comprehensive warranty. They are waxoyled and body schulzted and we welcome any outside inspection (RAC, AA, etc.).
