A walk round Hunstanton - the Pleasure Beach area
The major visitor attractions of the town are on the South Promenade, south of the Pier Entertainment Centre.
The Oasis leisure centre contains a heated swimming-pool with a slide-tube. There is also a fitness suite, cafe and drop-in area in the building.

The Sea Life Centre has an aquarium and some rescued seals.

Rides at the pleasure beach; click to expand

The pleasure beach has an assortment of rides and fairground-style attractions. There have been amusements on this site since the early 1900s, when the original swing boats and helter-skelter were installed. There are currently about a dozen major attractions.
The pirate crazy golf course; click to expand

Near the aquarium end of the pleasure beach there is a novelty golf course, which follows the 'pirate' theme that is very popular at the moment.
Yes, there are some people playing golf in this picture!
Although it's possible to walk inland from anywhere on this stretch and arrive at the South car-park, the route continues down the coastal defences to the Water Sports Centre.
